Don’t feel like driving to the ocean beaches? No problem! Spend the day on property hangin’ out on the OVT Bay Beach exclusive for our guests. Here, you can sunbathe on loungers, enjoy views on adirondack chairs, hang in the shade under umbrellas or have a scenic picnic on our soft sod watching boats pass by. Beach toys are also available for the kiddos. Want to get out and enjoy the water? Seasonal kayak, paddleboard and surfboards also available. Have a large group to entertain? Even better – schedule a paddle party!

Meschutt Beach
A close 4 minute drive, Meschutt Beach features 1,000 feet of beach on Peconic Bay. Here, you’ll find a fun social spot – The Meschutt Beach Hut. During season, the beach turns into a family friendly gathering with live music and awesome beach food and cocktails. There are areas for snorkeling, windsurfing and sailing. Interested in fishing? Saltwater fishing is permitted during the off-season. Meschutt Beach is lifeguard-protected has picnic areas and a playground. During season there is a $18 parking fee, however, free after 4pm. Also, dog friendly!
Tiana Beach - OVT Favorite!
A close 11 minute drive, Tiana Beach has powdery clean white sand and is a quiet spot to enjoy the ocean air. Here, there are onsite bathroom facilities, however, you’ll need to bring your own snacks and drinks as there is no concession stand. Off season, you can catch resident volleyball tournaments and the occasion small whales playing off in the distances. Nonresident daily permit is $30 per day during the peak season.
Ponquogue Beach
A close 11 minute drive, Ponquogue Beach is a public beach that stretches to the end of Westhampton Island, run by the town of Southampton and has a family atmosphere. Ponquogue Beach has concessions, restrooms, showers, picnic tables, and public phones available. No alcohol or fires allowed. There is no lifeguards on duty, so swim with caution. Nonresident daily permit is $30 per day during the peak season.
Cooper's Beach
A close 12 minute drive, Cooper’s Beach is well known in the Hamptons and stretches 500 feet along the Atlantic shoreline offering a view of historic mansions in the distance. No need to pack a cooler as Cooper’s offers a beach bar or restaurant to enjoy refreshing drinks and tasty snacks or luxurious meals with a view. Added bonus: the ability to rent umbrellas and chairs! Parking here can be fairly expensive at $50 for non-residents during the peak season.
